Colony Brands (formerly The Swiss Colony) is the largest mail-order catalog business in the Midwest. They first started using OnBase in their AP department for AP automation to manage invoices and purchase orders. This had been a significant challenge for them due to the sheer volume of these documents they faced. Implementing OnBase helped them streamline invoice approvals, reduce the error rate of duplicate payments, paperwork coming through and lost paperwork.
The other major challenge Colony Brands faced was managing paper trails. Each year around Christmastime, Colony Brands rehired 4,000 to 6,000 temporary employees, making this even more problematic. With OnBase, Colony Brands is able to quickly look up previous employees through their familiar Ultipro interface and application enabler pops up all the pertinent relatable hiring documents. This has allowed them to hire quickly and efficiently during their peak season.
