Timers are a powerful Workflow tool in OnBase, allowing tasks to be performed at a specific time. They can be configured to execute periodically at regular intervals, after a certain amount of time, or at an exact point in time. The configured timers can then be monitored by OnBase via an open Classic client, a manually configured Windows service, or the Core Workflow Timer Service. Whether you use Classic or Core based timer monitoring will be determined by several factors.
